The last day for online Christmas orders is today. That hit me as I look back on this year its amazing to think how far I have come with my business. More than doubled sales from last year, started my blog and I’m expanding Vixen Hollow Arts next year. I remember my very first blog post I talked about having to use multiple tents because one blew away and broke in Bar Harbor on Memorial Day Weekend. This past weekend I had my very last in person show as a vendor Pop up in Ellsworth at Poppy and Polka Dot Boutique.
There was a massage therapist there giving 10-minute massages for $10. Peninsula Therapeutic Massage located in Blue Hill Maine is owned and operated by Traci McHenan Martin. She is nice and gives a great massage.
Poppy & Polka Dot Boutique is owned and operated by Amanda Beals, a former math teacher. From clothing for women and children, to lotions and accessories there is so much to choose from at Poppy.
I brought with me charcuterie boards, lazy Susan’s, coasters, resin wave hairbrushes and so much more. I loved meeting new people. It felt bittersweet having my last show of the year. However, I’ll be back next year in January at Bridal Expos in Maine offering floral blocking. The 2023 wedding season will be the first year I will offering Floral preservation. I am very excited about helping Brides in Maine hold on to their special day.
