Read all about it! Literally read all about what’s going on with Vixen Hollow Arts in last week’s online edition of the Bangor Daily News.

I was at the first of 2 Christmas Craft Fairs at the Bangor Mall this past weekend. I’ll be back at it tomorrow. It’s really a sight to see the abandoned mall is taken over in the hallways & the stores with over 300 crafters and vendors like myself.

This amazing event is the brainchild of Kathy Harvey, the owner of Furniture Mattress and More. You can read the detail Kathy’s amazing story also in last week’s Bangor Daily News. We ended last Sunday with a beautiful double rainbow covering the Bangor Mall. It was beautiful.

Last week I saw a man pushing a cart on the side of the road t, I had seen that cart in the news. It was Isaiah Glen Shields of Walk America passing through my town. Isaiah has walk 8585 miles from Cape Alava in Washingtons States Olympic Peninsula to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec Maine. As of today, Isaiah made it to Lubec, based on updates online he’s waiting until Sunday to reach West Quoddy at sunrise. Isaiah seems pretty content living in the moment. We should all strive to be like that more often.

Isaiah was interviewed by our local CBS affiliate this week. Read all about him here and this Sunday he’ll have finished his amazing journey. I am sure we’ve not seen the last of Isaiah. I do hope he created a documentary about his journey. I would watch that!!
