Summer just went way to fast in August. Island Arts Association only has one event in August in Southwest Harbor. We had beautiful weather for the event. One of my best friends Tabitha, Owner of Luxury Picnics Acadia & the woman behind the amazing blog Downeast Famous, swung by with her youngest kid. It was so nice to have a happy baby swing by. I love surprises such as friends popping by.
Labor Day Weekend Island Arts Association was back in Bar Harbor. I was on the corner of Main Street and Mount Desert Street, across from Cherrystones Restaurant. I had a great weekend. Multiple Cruise ships were in town that weekend. I almost ran out of ocean blue resin wave coasters.
I have lots of Fall events coming up. Currently we have a hurricane coming up the East Coast this weekend. Island Arts Association had to decide to cancel our September Southwest Harbor Craft Fair due to the weather report.
That means my next event will be Saturday October 7th in Bangor for the Fall Downtown Bangor Art Walk for their October event. The following Weekend I will back in Bar Harbor however we’re at the Atlantic Oceanside for the Oktoberfest.
In November you can catch me in the old Children’s Place on the Furniture Mattress and More wing of the Bangor Mall for their Holiday weekend Extravaganza. From Mid-November until December 23 I will have some art available for sales at Waterville Creates in their Art Gallery on Main Street in Waterville.
I can’t believe I didn’t do a blog post in August but lots of things in my life changed that month. I focused on my personal life and self-care. So, I can see how the blog got missed. Hope to catch up again this fall.
