Sunday June 19th my craft fair was cancelled due to rain. I found myself sleeping in and scrolling on Facebook like most people on lazy rainy Sunday mornings. I noticed that my favorite clothing shop in Ellsworth Maine, Poppy and Polka Dot Boutique was going to have a pop-up bakery! It was happening because Honey and Lace had baked for a Juneteenth event with Healthy Acadia which like my craft fair that day was also cancelled from rain.
I have a major sweet tooth so I couldn’t resist stopping in. I bought a Strawberry and Creme Cake-pop and 2 mini-Lemon Pound cakes. Everything looked delicious and tasted even better than I expected.
I grabbed a few pictures of my purchases on 3 of my favorite charcuterie boards that I’ve made. A bamboo ocean blue charcuterie that lives in my kitchen, a pink/purple wave charcuterie and a red ocean wave dark wooden paddle charcuterie.
