Memorial Day weekend tends to kick off the start of Tourist Season on Mount Desert Island, especially in Bar Harbor next to Acadia National Park. Island Arts Association kicked off its 2023 Season on the Village Green in the Heart of Downtown Bar Harbor Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. It was great to see the familiar faces of so many local artisans and meet new tourists that were passing through town.
I sold so many beautiful pieces of art to so many lovely people. To conclude Memorial Day Weekend, I made it on the news while working my part time job. Channel 7 Fox News Bangor came to interview my Boss Mariya Stancheva. We work at the Inn on Mount Desert in the heart of Downtown Bar Harbor. The Inn is part of the Stay Bar Harbor which is locally family-owned business of premier Hotels, Inns and Bed & Breakfasts.
